I've been using Adobe Acrobat for a number of years. Those of you who are familiar with it know that you can use a desktop printer called 'Create Adobe PDF' to create PDF documents from any application.
My Mac had a serious crash, and I had to reinstall everything. But now I can't see any way of getting a 'Create Adobe PDF' desktop printer to appear. The 'Help' file indicates that I need to begin by opening up Distiller. However, any time I try to do that, moments after it begins to open, I get a failure dialog stating that 'A fatal PostScript error has left the interpreter in an intermediate state.'
This happened to me once before several years ago, and I (somehow) resolved it. However, for the life of me, I can't recall what I did.
Can anyone help?
